Too hot can damage the bioactive nutrients. You will still benefit from the other nutrients but will not have the full strength of bioactive colostrum.
--Did you know?: The temperature of coffee from a home coffee maker typically ranges between 155°F to 175°F (68°C to 80°C) when it's brewed. This temperature is hotter than the recommended mixing temperature for bovine colostrum of 140ºF. Mixing colostrum with freshly brewed coffee directly from a home coffee pot will be too hot and reduce the effectiveness of the colostrum's bioactive components. No, we do not remove fat or lactose from our colostrum. Other brands on the market remove fat or lactose to manipulate certain components, but we believe in preserving the natural composition of colostrum for its full effectiveness and benefits.
