Hot liquids - no. Warm liquids - yes!

Under 140°F is the rule of thumb because colostrum is heat sensitive - meaning hot liquid can damage the bioactive nutrients.

The best practice is keeping liquids below 140°F to avoid losing any bioactive potency. They won't degrade drastically over that temperature but keeping it below 140 is the best practice - that's still a very warm cup of coffee or tea! If you're adding cool milk, creamer or even letting your hot beverage cool off a bit before adding colostrum, it'll still be fine!

When starting a whole food like colostrum, your body might begin a natural detoxification process, where it releases stored toxins. 

Some users start with 1 scoop a day and increase to 3 scoops a day as tolerated! Go at your own pace.
